Hitch cover for Trailersaver BD5

There probably wont be much response to this post being that the BD5 is used by very few people but has anybody found a good source for a cover for the BD5 ? I had a cover shipped from trailersaver but they were basically a B-cue cover. I sent it back

Could you post a picture of the aux fuel tank? Is it taller than the bed rails? We have a roll up bed cover that the frame sits on top of the bed rails. works great for keeping the bed dry.
I have also seen one where a section on the front flips back for easy access to your aux fuel tank.

  • I have a Binkley on the FL60. I measured necessary dimensions and went to lowe's , got a plastic tub and mounted it over hitch. I did put two holddown's on it and easy on/off.
  • A cheap fix might be a boat motor cover. I have the BD3 and a BakFlip Revolver X2 cover that keeps mine dry. I also have a bass boat with a 200 Mercury and bought a Bass Pro cover for it for less than 50 bucks. It has a strap at the bottom to cinch it tight. If you want I can see how it fits over my BD3, just not tonight.
  • Go to a place that makes boat canvases. They can make one for it out of durable vinyl fabric.

    X2

As long as the hitch isn't above the bed rails, any good bed cover will work and keep the rest of the bed dry also.
  • Just so you know that your not alone, I'm one of the very few. I absolutely love the hitch.
I use this to cover my hitch:B
