Hitch Hiker, I'm back!

Hitch Hiker back on the market! Looking good!
  • Has to be an Excel product. Many of the features are an exact duplicate of what is in mine, including the hickory cabinets. Not sure any other manufacturer uses that wood. The water manifold is another give away. You could put a picture of mine with it and you wouldn't know which was which.
  • We haven't heard for sure but general feeling is that they are being built by Excel at Smith Center for NuWa, best of both worlds.

From what I have read the trailer is not being built at the Hitchhiker factory. Everything point to Excel. No exact information from Mike Mitchel, owner of NuWa, but he should be posting soon about build methods etc.

Mike mentioned several weeks ago he was working on a deal with an other high end manufacture for NuWa,s. Possibly to build them in his plants. Real details haven't been released. It defiantly has the NuWa front cap on it though.

  • Probably wrong but some of the features, furniture and cabinets look strangely Excel like. Makes me wonder where it was built.
  • They never really left. The plant stayed open building interiors for horse trailers. They also did service (on any brand) as well as the parts department. They also sell new RV's of other brands as well as Nu Wa. I bought a lot of parts from them to redo my Wildwood. Nice people. Happy to see they are building 5er's again.
