Cummins12V98 and fj12ryder, years ago, I may have done just that, I have been known to stretch the frames and install flat beds to make a truck what I wanted it to be. That was in the 70s and 80s, but times change. Fact is the wife and I like the little trailer. It is in great to excellent shape, and has more inside room than our 11.5 Bigfoot TC. Each has its advantage. I guess I will just have to add ballast to the 5er to keep the underweight police away. I still would like to experiment with a slider. I'll catch one on Craigslist for cheap.
