Hitch placement
When installing the new hitches in a new Ram 2500 I have options of where to place the kingpin location. Over the axle, 2" in front of the axle or 2 or 4" being the axle. Where should it go and why?

Is there a standard for placement of the hitch bed rails. I was checking my Husky 16K hitch on Reese bed rails and the king pin appears to be about 4" ahead of the axle and the only allowed adjustment is to 2" ahead of the axle. Seams that my bed rails are too far forward preventing an option to place the king pin directly over the axle. Any reference documents for proper bed rail install would be appreciated
