Have a 3400 Montana RL. Just purchased a F350 to replace my 2500 Silverado. Had a new hitch installed. Top of new hitch is 4-5 inches higher than old hitch as it sits in truck. Means I'm going to have...

There are several articles here about the height of the new trucks--I have the same problem.
Watch the clearance of the pin box against the bed rail when turned. Can you move the pin box "up" on the trailer?
Check the clearance of the trailer from the top of the bed sides to the bottom of the trailer.
Is the trailer fairly level when connected to the truck? Do you need to raise the trailer with axle flips or sub frames?
I've had to address all these issues. What's money????
