This project took a major turn. I picked a different trailer to put the camper on. The idea of making the pop-up removeable seemed more overwhelming than it should be. I even have slide-in truck camper jacks to help with the lifting. However, what do I do with it once it's off and standing in mid air. Solution, a small old boat trailer something similar to be a dolly.
Secondly, when I need the toy hauler, it was most likely for a weekend trip, and was it worth it to go through all the work for one or 2 nights.
I couldn't just permanently put it on the trailer because there are situations when I need the entire flatbed to haul other items.
Then I found a 19ft old camper frame. and the rest is history (or at least finished!) Not quite the length, but most of the I go to buddy's place and he hauls his own, or it is my son and I, so the 2 ATVs is enough
