honda 7000

Question

Ok just bought a Honda 7000 it will run both my ac,s and duel fridges. All lights and ceiling fan on my rushmore off of 30amp120 side. My buddy has a landmark and his 7000 wont work on 30amp 120 side to run his ac,s. He had to find a special plug a 4 prong twist to 50 amp plug. He can run his ac.s of the other plug which is 120/240 . Could it be the way the trailer is wired.

Most likely the ac's are harder to start. Running his generator using both hot legs is more balanced and will probably make his generator last longer.
I have a Yamaha 6300 and it started both my ac's either way on my old 5er. I haven't tried it on my new 5er yet.
