I would suggest that you buy a 30-amp female to 120-volt male adapter, cost about $3, so that you can plug your RV into the EU2000i inverter 120-outlet. I own the 2-Honda 2000 generators and they are great. Sometimes I connect them together, which gives me 4,000-watts, and sometimes I only use one, and it does not matter which one I use because I have an adapter that will accommodate the 30amp plug into a 120-volt outlet. I can use the 30amp plug on the companion and the adapter on the inverter.
When you connect the two generators together they drain, or use gas, equality at the same rate; because both generators are running, but sometimes I only use one generator. I can run my air conditioner and a few other small items with just one generator, but it is nice to have the two that can be connected together for the extra capacity.
I carry two-5-gallon gas containers in the bed of my truck, and the tank on the generator is only about 1-gallon, so its’ not a matter of running out of gas. These generators also come in handy in your house when there is a power outage but I would never run them inside of the house. It is also a good idea to get a strong cable lock an lock the generator(s) to each other and to the RV. I cable lock my generators to the bed of my truck when not in use and to the RV when in use. These are expensive items which have been known to be stolen.
