We do this all the time - hook up the night before so we can leave at 5am the next morning. We leave our FW plugged in to shore power and unplug the FW power to the truck. In the AM, all we have to do is unplug shore power and stow the cord, then plug in the FW to the truck, double check the lights and go. Where we park is on our property and is level, so if your site is not level, you may want to leave your front landing gear up till you pull out, but then again, you should be level hooked up. The only reason I mention this is because I'm a stickler for being level for any length of time for the fridge.
