Thank you for your reply. I thought the pipe seemed kinda high from the ground. I didn't want the hose to be too long as the concern would then be will the waste make it through with all that length. I wouldn't want waste stuck in the hose.

is the sewer connection *in the ground* - 15" above ground level?

If the latter (ground connection) is the case, and the former (trailer connection) is *higher than* 15", you can use plastic rain gutter to support the sewer hose....and apply a basic plumbing principle:

I carry 3 sections of 10' sewer hose.... That gives me the flexibility of anything from a few inches to 30' away..

Tell me how long your hose is and the location of your sewer valve and I can compute how close you need to be :) OF course we could also go with "tell me how far away you want to park, where your sewer connects to the trailer and I can compute how long the hose needs to be.

Most sewer hoses are expandable like and acordian so they adjust, biggest thing is to set it up swith enough pitch to allow it to drain and above all leave your drain valves closed untill you need to drain the tanks.

You only need a length (for water and sewer) just long enough to reach the hook-ups to your camper. Wait till you get the camper, put it in place and then measure the distance. In the mean time, you can use any hose. Some will argue and say use the white RV hoses only ... OK! I'll not get into that debate. Why not go to the campsite, measure off the longest distance from the hook-ups to the farthest end where the camper will be sitting. Then go to Wall Mart and buy the hoses. They come in different lengths, so you can always buy what you need (give yourself some wiggle room) - get extra.

Is the connection at the 5er 15" off the ground, or is the parks connection 15" off the ground??

If the sewer hook up is 15" above the ground you will need to cut it off and lower it. That would be an easy job if it is PVC. As far as the length of a sewer hose, you can couple then together if it is a long reach. My sewer tap at home is only about six feet from my trailer dump valve.
