Sewer hose length and support recommendation

The size of your coach has nothing to do with the length of sewer hose. The factor is distance from coach outlet to sewer connection in the ground. There have been times I only needed 5' of hose. Then again, there have been several times I needed 30' of hose. So I carry a 5', 10' & 20' length of hoses...never know. Same way, I carry (2) 25' lengths of water hose and (1) 10' section. Some parks have shared water connections and you have to stretch to connect. Always better to have too much than too little.

I carry 2 10' hoses.
I use PVC rain gutter cut into 3 pieces.
I use the orange leveling pads for support of the gutter and hose.

I finally ditched carrying the needed 2 sizes of stinky slinky's and broke down and bought a Rhino sewer hose. It is rigid and expands and closes to what ever length you need. And to supplement the hose for an extended stay or uneven ground/obstacles to hook up, I bought a Side Winder.

Both also close/fold to a compact size for ease of storing in bay.

Ahhh, makes the whole sewer experience much nicer. Just sorry I waited so long to make the change.

I have a 20' and a 10'. I'm usually able to use one or the other, and occasionally need both together.Also have the sidewinder support as in rockhillmanor's post, but don't use that often.

RhinoFlex hose and a SideWinder support like Rockhillmanor has posted above is the best way to go in my opinion.

As the owner of a 45' coach, I can honestly say the correct length of sewer hose necessary for that size rig, is one that will connect from the sewer connection at the campground to the sewer connection on your rig.....:B:B....if your rig is like mine, you'll have a macerator and it comes with it's own hose and will stretch about 28'. Add a 150' garden hose to that and you're up to about 180'....perfect for that camping spot within 150' of a sewer cleanout or a restroom with flush toilets.....just sayin....Dennis

Not a Rhino fan. They are very expensive and, after two uses, ours leaked like crazy and went in the trash. I do use the hose support and have for many years. For sewer hoses, I have 2 ten foot hoses. Just bought whatever I could find, as has been our experience over the years that they ALL leak after a number of uses so no use wasting a lot of money. Have never had an issue. For water, I have 2 25 foot water hoses. Works for us!

If you get the ends right with the bayonet connectors you can use them like extension cords and connect one to another.

These 2 (curved on drive & the one in the trough) will connect together.
