Hot brake drum
One of my brake drums (shoe and drum type) gets much hotter than the other 3 drums.....why is thus? What temp is too hot? Thks

Get the brakes checked out by a mechanic if you are noticing a problem. We never noticed a problem until one day we were driving down the road, and I smelled something hot. About 5 minutes later, I saw smoke coming up on the driver side, when we stopped at a red lite. The brake calipers seized up and the grease or fluid in there caught fire.
