- TxGearheadExplorer IIWe have the HC 305 rl. Only issues have been the Dometic fridge and the 3 piece shower door. Be absolutely sure the latch on the doors is closed. I added adjustable curtain rods in the bottom tracks in case the latch doesn't hold. Also had to add latches on the closet sliding doors. Little plastic snap straps didn't hold.
I think the "light" is mostly in the floor. Maybe a laminated floor?
Otherwise fairly satisfied.
I did end up with 3000 pin weight. But I travel heavy. - DumoldlesExplorerWhen I was checking out new 5th wheels last year and I looked at the Montana brand. The salesperson stated that the Montana Highcountry was a "lite" version of the Montana brand...nothing wrong with that but I have never been a devotee of anything "lite". I can't help but think that the brand is cutting out a quality components or leaving some type of workmanship out of the product
My two cents worth. Dumboldles - janegowestExplorer

We took a tour of the Montana production line 2 years ago and it was an eye-opener! Before buying any trailer currently in production it behooves you to go to the factory and watch what goes into them. Everything is precut and measured and the assembly is very fast. Don't know if it is good or bad but it certainly tells you why they are so hard to work on. Everything gets hidden as it goes together. Even the tour guide talked fast!
LOL!! I guess even the Montana sales reps and dealers talk fast as well!! - MainerBobExplorerWe took a tour of the Montana production line 2 years ago and it was an eye-opener! - BB_TXNomadYou might ask your question on the Montana Owners Club (MOC) forum. A very active forum with lots of both Montana and Montana High Country owners there.
- azdryheatExplorerQuality is lacking across the board in the RV industry. Doesn't matter the brand, they're all having problems of one sort or another.
