How big of a truck for safe and comfortable towing?

Cummins mileage is better after 2013, when they went the DEF route. Currently the pack is pretty even, the Cummins is still the only one using the more reliable Bosch CP3 high pressure Fuel Pump.

For 16,000 loaded you might squeeze by with a 3500 SRW, but a Dually would be far easier to pull with. If it were me it would be a 3500 DRW Ram/ Cummins/Asin!
