Our bikes are also high end, and once wrapped in a cheap moving blanket...they are safe and out of sight in the rv and the blanket keeps any grease/dirt contained. Wash once per season and good to go. Just removing pedals with a 15mm wrench makes them sit quite flat on the bed.
