How many here have tailgate clearance issues
I posted on another site as well.How are you dealing with the tailgate clearance with the front of the coach while the tailgate is in the down position ? Currently I moved my B&W companion to just beh...

I just upgraded trailers and I was really surprised at how close the tailgate comes to the basement compartment now. It's just a couple of inches. Before, with my old rig, I could come in at a lot of angles and the tailgate wouldn't touch. It was actually nice to be able to hitch and unhitch when not perfectly in-line.
I switched to the Andersen and have the same amount of clearance as the B&W. I turned the receiver/adapter around on the king pin to move the trailer back further. Now the pin box shroud touches the sides of my Retrax Pro bed cover. But the metal pin box itself doesn't touch. I'll trim the plastic shroud back and should be good.
