I just looked up some of my weights. My 5th wheel has a certified factory dry weight of 7,148. The GVWR is 11,625 and the last time I went over the scales on our way to a two week dry camping trip the trailer came in at 10,145. So it is not at all difficult to get to 2,000 lbs of junk or more.
