How private are those bathroom/bedroom slides?

As I continue window shopping on line, I've found some floor plans I really like. But many of them have a slide that spans both the front bedroom and the adjacent bathroom. In the pictures it appear...

You would want that gap if you were running the bathroom fan and flushed. You would suck the fumes out of the black tank, it would not be pleasant.
