The genny is located in a metal box under the master bed, and has a solid compartment access door on the outside, not a vented one.
That is why I made my last comment. Most of the noise on mine is from the vent in the compartment door. The floor in the compartment is open. I have thought about blocking the vent as my other 2 did not have it and never overheated.
