I have a toyhauler 5th and the genny is right under the master bed also in front.
however our Onan is pretty quiet but I hear it a little. What I did was put a folded up comforter along my pillow area on the bed. Honestly our heads are on our pillows, on top of that folded up comforter muffles that little bit of extra noise that irked me a bit. It doesn't bother us at all now.
not sure if it will work for ya, but it did for me. I just put more between me and the mattress in a way.
