Mine has a decal that says so and I can see the edges of the astro foil in a few places. The dual panes sure help and really cut noise. How cold are you talking about? High teens at night and warming up during the day doesn't take much to handle that. We've had one with nothing but enclosed tanks and valves that did that easily. Craig
