HR Presidential Suites

Going to look at a 2007 HR Presidential Suite (model 37SKQ).

Any Presidential owners out there with issues that I should watch for?

Pictures look good (don't they always?), and price seems reasonable (mid 20s).
  • I owned a 2006 37 RLQ for almost 10 years.. It was great. We loved it.. No big issues to speak of.. We sold it and purchased brand new rig for fulltiming in retirement.
Our experience was very good. Great unit. From our almost 10 years of ownership, I would recommend it. I do all the checks for leaks, check out slide functions, etc.. the usual for being used.
  • We had a 06 Aluma Scape that was not as fancy but built on the platform and I believe to this very day these were some of the best built campers
  • We also had one and loved it. I lived in it while I was working remotely. Check the slide out floors, though. We had to replace the bedroom slide floor. I was able to do it, but it was a job. It was water damage from water penetrating the seal between the wall and the floor.
  • I had an alumascape 37 rear living room with 4 slides. Everything worked well with few issues like the contact on the wall becoming unglued in one small spot. It was an easy fix and not like a later trailer I bought from fun finder that never connected the shower drain. I would have kept that trailer if there wasn't a need to downsize to something smaller.
  • We had a 97 Holiday Presidential. . . They are great trailers.. well built... back in the day, they were the cream of the crop . .
