chevman - DaYooperExplorerMy Shasta Phoenix has hung walls. The wall for the kitchen entertainment slide became detached. I took it back to the factory for repair this past winter and saw the newer models being put together in the factory which was interesting.

Looking at the construction cut-away on the Carriage site, it looks like Luan is behind the outer skin. Hung walls don't have that Luan backer. I'm thinking it's a regular laminated wall. Plus they don't mention if the aluminum framing is 16" OC or not. It would need to be at least 16" OC for a hung wall.
Crossroads shows the same construction cut-away for the Cameo, Carriage and Rushmore. - dblrExplorer

- ckwizard777ExplorerHung wals are glued directly to the frame with no lamination in the process, Its a bit more labor intensive vs laminated walls but in my mind a prefered construction method simply because the chance of delamination is reduced and the cost of repairing would be less.
