Hydraulic fluid for Lippert Ground Control

Ok, I know very little about hydraulic systems. My reservoir for my auto leveling system is below the fill line. Lippert said it was ok but I want to add some fluid because it is about 6 inches below the fill line. Are all hydraulic fluids the same? I am not sure what I need to buy. I may just have to call Lippert to see.

    Here is from one of their owner's manuals.
    Fluid Recommendation Automatic transmission fluid (ATF) with Dexron®III or Mercon®V or a blend of both is recommended by Lippert Components, Inc. For a list of approved fluid specifications, see TI-188. To obtain this Technical Information sheet online, go to documents/ti-188-hydraulic-operation-fluid-recommendation. Look for TI188: Hydraulic Operation Fluid Recommendation within the listings. NOTE: In colder temperatures (less than 10° F) the jacks may extend
