On my trailer a fully charged battery is necessary for slide and landing gear operation.
But surely . . . that would have been first thing the shop checked out.
If shop didn;t have RV plugged into shore power......all that 'testing' would have run batteries down enough to have have low voltage.
Low voltage...no workie
If there was a leak the hydraulic pump reservoir would loose level and pump would run just fine (not shudder) until reservoir went dry.
Check battery voltage.
