Hi... sorry about your problems on the trip. That is upsetting. We headed out from Co. To northern Ca. For a 2 week trip. First night out aat a campground in Salt Lake City the one slide out we have failed to slide out. I could hear the motor running but it would not move out. I found the hand crank and it would not move the slide out.. At this time we had one day of travel behind us and reservation at campground for 12 nights booked for the balance of the trip. We decided to continue ..... It was a bit cozy. But the awesome Red woods were great.. Turns out the bracket that holds the motor broke and that was fixed when got back to Co. Jim2007
