I spent years doing highway design and construction and there is no way around the FHWA rules when you are dealing with Interstates.
You've obviously never driven I-65 between Birmingham and Montgomery or I-59 from Chattanooga to Birmingham. Almost like driving on a washboard.
my points exactly..some are in good shape, some are in a terrible state, so they're not all alike, some you really don't want to travel.....There are also 7% grades in several interstate area's I travel and it's stated as such....don't think I'll see that in some states....nope...not all the same....
