Oh goody..more math...LOL
So if I can tow 7400# that would be the trailer and the load in the trailer.
Then, I have to understand my truck's weight with fuel, passengers and gear; add that to the 7400# tow rating and factor in the GCWR, right?
With 3.73 Axle Ratio Axle Ratio You Can Tow 7750 lbs
Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) = 8510 lbs
Payload = 2422 lbs
Curb Weight = 6088 lbs
Curb Weight Front/Rear = 3358 lbs/3358 lbs
GAWR Front/Rear = 4750 lbs/6010 lbs
Gross Combination Weight Rating (GCWR) = 14000 lbs
14000 - 8510 = 5490
So really, with a loaded truck I can tow 5490?
