If you can afford to trade then I say get what suits you for sure.

Very good advice Daryll. Last June we bought a 27ft Kodiak TT. The layout was great, storage was ok, etc. The only thing I didn't do was lie on the bed. It turned out it was a "short queen". That was a new idea to me. It was our first RV. I am 6'2" and despite pushing the mattress out with some padding behind it, it was miserable sleeping for me. We traded it and will be taking delivery of a Heartland Bighorn this weekend. I checked the bed this time :).
