Before you finalize, take my humble advice. Head to the dealer where the new one is located and bring a fast food lunch. View it with slides open/closed, sit at the dinette and eat lunch. Spend an hour or two in the rig opening cupboards, try standing in the shower. Open all compartments and ensure your present stuff will fit. Picture your last few trips...and imagine towing/backing this rig vs past one. Look where the power/water/sewer is, do you like how it works. Honestly I watch folks closely at dealerships and they get "dazzled" by the silliest things and then I read stories on here about rv's that wont fit in a driveway, too long/heavy for truck, bunks too narrow, not enough slides, no counter space, cant sit on toilet...etc etc. Take a day to really look long and hard at this rig and perhaps it will suit you longer than the last one. If you can afford to trade then I say get what suits you for sure.
Daryll
Very good advice Daryll. Last June we bought a 27ft Kodiak TT. The layout was great, storage was ok, etc. The only thing I didn't do was lie on the bed. It turned out it was a "short queen". That was a new idea to me. It was our first RV. I am 6'2" and despite pushing the mattress out with some padding behind it, it was miserable sleeping for me. We traded it and will be taking delivery of a Heartland Bighorn this weekend. I checked the bed this time :).
X2! There are only 3 things to concern yourseves with, IMHO, they are floor plan, floor plan and the there is of course FLOOR plan! No matter the tecnology, or the wizz bang gizmos, if the floor plan does not suite your lifestyle then you have wasted your money. It has to work for YOU. The advice about spending some time in the unit, doing what you normally do will give you some idea of how this will work for you. If it does then go for it! Enjoy it! If it does not then be objective about it, the little problem storing your pots will not go away it will become a major problem sooner or later. Good Luck.
