If you have a good dealer that will service unit while you wait and get you in and out promptly,than make an appointment and take it back to them.
However If your dealer is going to keep it for weeks and give you the run around then I would fix it myself.
Most likely I would just deal with the issue my self. I simply would not want the hassle of taking it back and forth and waiting on dealer.
My general RV rule of thumb is if I can possibly fix it myself than do it. In the long run I am more satisfied with the repair and it is less hassle and aggravation than dealing with the dealer.
