Installing Domani Receiver Hitch
New purchase 2008 Domani and New member to RV.net. Has anyone had a receiver hitch installed on a Carriage Domani? Any information would be very helpful. Thank you.

First, you'll need to replace the bumper with a heavier tube, even if it's just a receiver for a bike rack or light cargo rack (up to 300-500 lbs). If you plan on towing, you'll need a full sub-frame bolted/welded to the main frame and extending several feet forward. I've seen a couple on here that went completely past the rear spring hangars. There are some nice DIY build threads here.
