Installing Onan generator in a Fifth Wheel
Well, we had an offer we couldn't refuse on our Class A and sold it! We discovered we absolutely LOVE RVing so now, we have moved into a Fifth Wheel (first time)for the additional room, etc. We fell in love with and bought a 2011 Big Country. We have a couple of Fifth Wheel questions.....
It is pre-wired for a generator. So, we found a great deal on a used Onan 7000 and need to install it. I'm assuming we need to service/maintenance the used genny we bought. Can we install it ourselves or should we have this professionally done? If we can do it ourselves what's the process? Do we need to put something in for vibration? What type of fuel tank do we need and where to get one, etc, etc, etc... Your advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!
Also, is there a forum just for Heartland and/or Big Country owners??
