Trinity Center is a good central staging area for play. Lots of open FS dirt and paved back country roads. Ranshorn would take you over to Dunmuir....short trip down I-5 and Dog Creek would take you home.
Forks of the Salmon is a paved loop for your Buell.....Trinity center, North to Etna, then down to Hoopa, and back home. IP/FR 42N17/Stewart Springs RD's would take you over to Mt Shasta.
I sold my street machine, but have a D/S.....May be able to show you around a little if my schedule allows. :)

Went fishing out of Crescent City/Smith River, with a Brother and one of Our Sons and DIL.
Had some fun and a family get together, just saw some DS opportunities while getting there. If I can put together a trip during the warmer months, I will let you know for sure, nothing like local knowledge. Bro lives in Groveland, mostly dirt roads, but decent rides.
