- travelnutzExplorer III realy like the full Rhino roof as that stuff is simply fantastic plus and so long lasting. So easy to patch a puncture or other damage roofs see in minutes and NO leaks as it's all one piece. Stretches and contracts constantly along with the RV structure and remains securely adhered and doesn't use glue or any screws, moldings, etc to give a leak point. It also hugs tightly around roof items required holddowm screws thus forming a water tight seal.
- VeebyesExplorer IIThat is one huge brute! Two thrones, two sinks, really!!! Come on, how much space really needs to be devoted to the room the least amount of time is spent in?
Looked over their floorplans. Didn't see anything I like better than what I already have. A nice feeling. - stickdogExplorerNot a lite coach 15000+ dry 18750 GVW. Size and $'s,it's not what your weekend camper is looking for. This is a fulltimers or snowbird 5er and most likely be resort bound. If it catches on you'll see more by the Indiana builders.

Seems like it would severely limit you in choice of sites to accommodate the entry steps. Also wonder where the slide out switches are located. Exactly what I was thinking...whole set-up seems very awkward, to say the least...
On another note, getting out of town later this month?? Bonnaroo is coming...LOL!! - FOREVER_FREEExplorerSeems like it would severely limit you in choice of sites to accommodate the entry steps. Just another dumb a$$ed floorplan from Excel. They make great trailers but their floorplans suck.
We shopped for a new 5th wheel in 2012.
Few manufactures had a floodplan that met my requirements:
1) bathroom accessable with slides closed
2) refrigerator accessable with slides closed
3) recliners directly across from TV
NuWa did not and their interiors were very dated.
Excel's 34IKE met all my requirements. Their current floor plans are great and offer many alternatives.
I applaud them for thinking outside the traditional 5th wheel box. - larry_barnhartExplorer

excel has had enough problems with their slides leaking and causing floor problems to not give me a good feeling I would buy this model because of the extra stress walking in and out plus a extra heavy person coming to visit adding stress on the slide. I might be wrong .

Larry,
I wrote to Bryan @ PI to ask questions regarding the slide door entry. He assured me that the slide door opening has been reinforced. Also the step set up created by Mike Nebel, has adjustable and fairly strong legs and pads to absorb bulk of the load, not the slide walls. When Bryan was demoing the stairs on the live video showing, he stepped on the first step and jumped up and down on it and it appeared quite stable. Actually much more stable than a conventional step set up. Also with the stair mounting in the stowed position, the entry door can only open to 90*. Bryan explained if you needed to open all the way (moving in or out furniture, etc.) the step assy. can be removed with only 12 #10 screws. I'm not a fan of the look of the step assy. when stowed, but that may be cause it looks so different. We'll see how this all works out in due time. I have to admit when I first look at this set up I was quite skeptical....but now feeling better about it. rockin'
Hi Tom I said I could be wrong. I can't see the real need for it but maybe change is a good thing.

One potential problem that I see is that some parks are so tight in space that the entry steps could be right at the edge of your neighbors slide. I don't usually stay in places that tight but it does happen from time to time.
Steve - jims1ExplorerWell it seems like everyone has an opinion of it!
