- Mile_HighExplorerInteresting question on the dual pane.
Someone said it was automotive glass, but I don't know if that's windshield glass or tempered glass. Tempered glass that would shatter and fall out might really ruin a vacation if it caught a rock from a passing truck. I would much prefer it windshield glass. - jerem0621Explorer IIMy 95 Layton travel trailer had a front window with a fold down road cover...loved it
- richfaaExplorerThe first thing wife and I thought of was bugs and how we could keep that window clean. We will pass on the window.

You are absolutely right! The market will decide what succeeds, not a tiny group of people, constantly banging heads on RV.NET. I look forward to seeing it in person at a show. Won't be buying another rig in the foreseeable, but like to keep abreast of the new stuff. And yeah, Rain X works very well! - FlatBrokeExplorer III wonder if they are going to be dual pane? We bought a new Lance TRUCK camper and it had the front single pane window. Don't think they offered duals in the front. It was pretty cold on your head while we were sleeping up there. About a year later Lance quit putting them in TCs. We traded for a Snowriver TC with no window and it was a lot more warmer, however we did miss the view out the window. A dual/thermo pane properly sealed would be nice.

Don't over complicate it. Lance didn't learn jack.
We weren't talking about truck campers to begin with.
Well I thought it was about front windows and I thought I had a valid point and I may not of stated it to your liking. Lance took them out of their TRUCK CAMPERS because they were problematic. However I'll just let you win this one because winning appears to be more important than the OP. - laknoxNomad

Since they have 2 awnings on the curb side, why couldn't they put awnings on the street side, too? That's a =lot= of wall space exposed to the sun.

Well, that doesn't really look like a truck camper.
No I don't think it is a truck camper. However, our code enforcement thinks that anything that has truck involved is a TRUCK CAMPER. I told the officer that came to give me an RV violation that and he agreed with me it was a camper loaded on the back of a truck but the law didn't see it that way. He did give me an extension to put my truck back under the fifth wheel while I was working on it in the street. Could be there are code enforcement folks on RV.net. LOL ;)
Well, on edit. I did say trailer manufactures and not fifth wheel manufactures, like I original was but trailer was shorter, and Lance does make trailers. So I would probably loose in court. :) you know how those judges are? ;)
