Our first fifth-wheel was a Prowler Regal with front living room and front window. I liked that design very much. (It must have been around a 1995 model.) I even tried to find a front living room model to replace it, but all the new trailers with front living rooms were much larger than I wanted.
The front window did have a rock shield and it worked very well. Easy to open and close. I still miss being able to look out the front, even in our front bedroom trailer.
Ofcourse, this was before the day of triple slide-outs, so the space inside was limited, but it was a great design for its day.
If I could find a 34' fifth-wheel with front living room and window with two or three slides . . .
