Hi all...down to final decision on a grand  design fiver....reflection 337rls at 34 feet vs solitude 369rl at 39 feet....DW loves the solitude  but i am intimidated at the size...truck  a new gmc 3500...

All those SPs that say they have a 30' limit usually have some spots that a 34 can be shoehorned into. It is not always the length of the pad that determines if the rig can be shoved in there. There are the other hazards like trees & the branches that have to be worked around.
Very important in getting a large 5er in a tight spot is a competent spotter & a driver who takes directions with a cool head.
A well laid out 34 model# has more than enough room for extended trips, even fulltiming.
