Inverter Generator

I’m looking at a Firman WH02942 dual fuel inverter 3200/2900 watt generator for use with a 50 amp 5er. I’m looking for just enough power to run 1 ac and some lights, yet be light enough to easily move. Anyone have any experience with Firman?
  • That Champion isn’t dual fuel. Neither is the remote start one. If you’re looking to run it off of propane Champion does make one similar to the Firman, I’m trying to decide between them as well. The benefit of not having to haul gas, or clean a carb is appealing to me.
  • That 4000 watt Champion looks good for the $$$. I appreciate everyone taking the time to respond.
  • “yet be light enough to easily move.”

It’s got wheels but wheels won’t lift it into your truck bed...140 pounds.
  • I have the Champion 4000 watt RV ready digital hybrid. Powers my 15000
a/c and lights just fine. I keep frig and hot water on propane while using. Have had this gen for about two years no problems.

This gen would be cutting it close, maybe too close! The one pianotuna mentioned would be a better choice.

  • I'd go with the Champion, tho with or w/o the electric start. The 3500/4000 inverter. You can get one for around $500 off Amazon.
  • Hi,

That's easily enough power--but I'd go Champion 3400 with remote electric start.
