Is it important to get dual pane windows?
We plan to live in our ours for 6 months stretches....in South GA and in Southern CA. Would we need the dual pane?

So, all you guys espousing the benefits of dual pane windows, are they really thermopane windows with an inert insulating gas or are they just 2 pieces of glass in a frame and what are the R values of them versus standard single pane?
