Won't make as much difference as some think. I add about 150# or so to the front with 5,600# pin weight.
I know the turnover ball is installed in the right location as the mounting plates use existing holes in the frame and everything lined up perfectly.
The companion is current set to the full forward, full upward location with the adapter that slides into the gooseneck socket in the forward location.
The one thing I could do to gain more forward location would be to rotate the socket post 180 degrees The instructions recommend doing this for trucks that have the gooseneck ball directly over the rear axle (my ball is 1" in front of the axle) This will move the hitch from being 3" behind the post to 1" ahead of the post, essentially pulling the trailer 4" closer to the cab.
For those that are familiar with the B&W hitch setup: in the image below my current setup is highlighted in red. full forward, full upward. I could potentially go to the setup in green.
