What is the difference in a 2013 titled rig from another dealer or the factory? If it's good deal for the buyer there should be no concerns with the source. Slide toppers are an option item and are often installed by the selling dealer upon request and price agreement.
Howe ever; I would not finalize the deal with the feeling that the seller is difficult and from the tone of your post, not completely trustworthy. Feeling thus, I believe you will never be comfortable with the purchase.
