I doubt Jayco stops production during the winter. They continue to build and park the trailers on their storage lot until the flood of orders come a few months later.
It could easily be a "dealer order" that was filled with a matching trailer on the storage lot.
The manufactured date being a few months before the dealer ordered date seems normal given it was cold and snowy in NY during Dec, Jan and Feb.
The separate issue of being difficult to deal with is ... well, a judgement call.
