is new camper actually new?

sorry for the awful posts before was using a phone and now have a computer. He's not trying to get out of the deal in fact has 4k down on it. He is super picky and will only get this camper model. They have a 2012 one is Syracuse and he it debating it very much. I just find it difficult to believe that it was an ordered unit and just finished production. They said they called factory and everything to put on slide covers and said it would have them when shipped but it didn't. Yes it is hard to find this model and where we live don't have to many dealers within two hours. This dealer is the closest. It was more of a discussion because you all seem to know a lot and I really don't know much about this. Is it petty yes, but you just don't get a good feeling when it feel like they're lying. I personally told him to put an offer for the one in Syracuse, non camping world dealer but he is reluctant because of the money down already. Worst of all, they called and said it was ready thursday, and they wouldn't let us pick it up saturday saying they're to busy. They are getting rid of 17 units that day. I don't know if thats a lot or not but I would want to get it out of there asap. If i were them. Thanks for the input.
