is slider hitch really needed with standard box? (6'5")

Fiverwheel, I have a standard box. Long box 8', standard box 6 1/2' and short box 5 1/2 and shorter. Mine soon to be 5th wheel has slightly angled front its a 2013. I know the one time I need the slide it would be worth it but if I can honestly get 88° with out it its hard to justify Spending another $4-500 dollars. I wish the dealership had a test drive, tight camping spot on there yard
