My 3500 RAM Diesel has a payload of 4,070. SRW. Love it.
It was a difficult choice between the Ram 2500 and 3500. Love the smoother ride of the 2500's coil suspension; however. at the time we hadn't purchased our new 5r yet. Didn't want to take any chances on pin weight limiting our choices, so went with the extra payload vs. the smoother ride. Sometimes we're reminded of our choice when we cross bumpy railroad tracks--especially when the rear tires are running 80 PSI. Typically we drop the rears to 45-50 PSI unloaded.
