I thought I could "effectively" dictate which percentage of my trailer weight goes toward my trucks payload via the WDH?
Meaning if it's 900lbs hitch weight, some of that weight reaches the ground through the trailer tires, and therefor would not effect payload? I wonder then which dictates the way the trailer pulls... is a ratio of the hitch weight to the trailer weight, or is a ratio of the amount of hitch weight reaching the ground through the truck tires to the entire trailer weight? Does that make sense?
