Jacking to change a tire or service brakes or bearings?

I did this about 30 years ago....didn’t know that they were being manufactured. Or, maybe I should’ve “patented” the idea, way back then.
I simply cut a pipe coupling in half, and welded to the top of the bottle jack stem. You can cut the coupling to a width to fit between the u-bolts
