Jacking to change a tire or service brakes or bearings?

I know this has been beaten to death, but my situation is a little different than most of the threads I see here. I have towed a lot of different trailers a lot of miles, and have changed tires in gas...

I used this method a couple of times... third time the leaf spring bent bwt spring eye and the next leaf down... bought heaver weight springs all around and never used the ramp again. Made a half circle cup that fits bwt the ubolts and locates on top of a bottle jack. Used many times last 10 yrs, no prbms so far...
