Ok I have searched both this forum and google. Can't seem to find info I need. We are looking at buying another 5th wheel. Have found a 2011 Jayco 26.5 RLS HT. Wasn't really looking for light weight, but not really a deal breaker if all is right.I have been around RV's for awhile and of course am familiar with Jayco name but have never really paid much attention.Here is my question - where does Jayco stand in the Quality pecking order? Are they considered entry level - mid range - upper level.Appreciate any input on the brand in general.ThanksBob

I'd put the main Jayco line as mid, certainly not high and below your Holiday-Rambler.I put all "lite" rigs as lower.

I've owned 7 brand new Jayco's so far...no issues with them what so ever...and yes #8 is also going to a new Jayco! You'll find that generally Jayco owners will buy another Jayco when they buy another new RV than any other brand.That speaks volumes about Jayco...still same family owned since 1962...

2005 Jayco Designer and not one thing to complain about everything works like new and I would buy another in a heartbeat. There are units that have some better components but for an above average line of products I have no complaints and workmanship and warranty make a big difference when making a choice.

On my second Jayco. Love Jayco because they are well constructed and stand behind their two year warranty. Camped tonight in our 2014 Eagle FW 26.5 RLS - our second trip out.

My first Jayco was a rear kitchen. Never had a problem with it in 6 years.

We have a 09 Jayco Eagle 313RKS ordered it from the factory with many options, We gone through 3 slide motors numerous problems the fridge,(Norcold) we're on our second door insert,and 1 complete door. I wouldn't wish a rear kitchen on somebody I even like. Had to have the towin on the rear tires repaired,was really gobbling tires

I was looking at the same year and model, while I didn't buy it I liked it very much. I think I would have been very happy with that model.
What kept me from buying was price, found a better deal.

why don't you look at the newest jayco just out this year it is 27.5 rlts eagle ht with reese revolution king pin the wife and it just got one from trailside rv in grain valley mo for a real go price

Overall good quality. Better than many. When shopping they usually make my short list. Last purchase we just couldn't find the right package for floorplan, weight and price but that always changes so they are certainly worth a hard look.

I would consider some models in the pricing/quality mid range. Some of their line would be lower-mid price range.

However, Jayco reliability seems to be quite good, overall. My impression is that the older model years are a bit better quality than the newer ones. But that is just my opinion on what I read about them, and talking to some owners.

I just got my first last year. And while there may be LOTS of opinions about who is better than who for quality (whatever that may mean) - the fact is that Jayco is one of the very few to offer a full 2-year warranty. And they very, very rarely crop in the tales of woe posted about something going very wrong (and not supported) after the end of the warranty.

A friend at work. His mother and father owned two Jayco 5th Wheel Trailers.
They full timed in them for 12 years. Only reason they got the 2nd Jayco is a Accident they were in. They were T-bone in Kansas at a intersection when some one ran a red light talking on a cell phone. No body hurt by the Jayco was totaled and insurance bought them their 2nd Jayco. They had no problems with both units, other that some facets had to be replace, and other normal small issues that come up after time, in a Fifth Wheel.
